…and someone who’s spent more than 20 years learning this industry from behind the chair.

I’ve built the clientele. Started over. Made mistakes. Celebrated wins. And learned a whole lot along the way.

Now I get to pass those lessons on to you.

I’ve built my stylist business from just about every angle.

I’ve assisted.
Worked commission.
Gone independent.
Moved across the country and rebuilt my clientele from scratch (that one hurt).
Worked hundreds of weddings.
Built a six-figure career behind the chair.

 

But the part I'm most proud of? I'm still a hairstylist.

 

I’m still doing what I love, making the people that sit in my chair look and feel their best, over and over. And along the way, I have built a business that allows me to live the life I’ve I’ve always dreamed of. 

And that’s what I want for other stylists. 

There are so many things that I wish someone had simply sat me down and told me when I was starting out behind the chair.

The little things that make clients feel taken care of (and build loyalty). The conversations that feel so awkward until you learn how to handle them. The mistakes that cost you time, money, or confidence. And the business decisions that get easier once you actually understand what you're looking at.

I have been so blessed...

To learn from incredible mentors, continuing education, experience, trial and error and yes, plenty of mistakes.

I can’t go back and give 17-year-old Mary all of that advice. But I can give it to you.

And that's why I'm here!

I want to share what has worked, what definitely didn’t, the mistakes I made, and the lessons that took me years to learn.
